Married man detained for threat to Kill

SEROWE: Police in Serowe have detained a 37 year old man on charges of threat to kill. It is alleged that the man threatened to kill his wife aged 33 after a heated argument.

The incident happened yesterday at Mmashoro village near Serowe.Assistant Superintendent, Bopelo Ntatiwa said: “The suspect will appear in court on Wednesday. It looks like there is no peace in the family.” It is further alleged that the suspect is abusive towards his wife. Sources close to the incident suggest that the constant arguments between the couple is fuelled by the fact that the man is currently not employed, while the wife is employed.

Meanwhile police in Serowe are looking for a man who is suspect in a stabbing incident. It is suspected that he stabbed his lover several times with a sharp instrument at Mannathoko ward. The misunderstanding arose after the boyfriend accused the girlfriend of cheating.
