Marina refurbishes wards, relocate patients to SKMTH

Princess Marina Hospital (PMH) is currently undergoing renovations to enhance the hospital’s infrastructure and patient care services. The renovations started on September 18, 2023 and they are expected to be completed by July 31, 2024.

According to PMH superintendent, Keemenao Sampisi, said the refurbishment will mainly target gynaecology ward, maternity one and two wards, paediatric wards (medical and surgical), male and female medical, and surgical wards and the private ward.

He explained that those developments would be carried out in phases, in line with the renovation plan to minimize interruptions to inpatient care services and consideration of patients and visitors safety.
