Man, 61, dies in donkey cart accident

An elderly man has died following a donkey cart accident that occured at Gamononyane Lands, located near Metsimotlhabe along the Gaborone-Molepolole road on Saturday evening.

The deceased, 61, is suspected to have fallen from a moving donkey cart whilst travelling alone. He was later discovered by passerby from a nearby farm who were passing through the area.

Police revealed that the deceased was lying in the middle of the road in the bush, trapped between the donkeys that were pulling the cart.
