List of accepted recommendations by the Salaries Commission

Last year government instituted the Public Service Salaries Review Commission, which began its four-month assignment on July 1, 2007. This is the first installment of the accepted recommendations by the Salaries

Commission.  This will be followed by lists of amended, referred, deferred and rejected recommendations.

1) Within three years, concerted efforts should be made to finalise and introduce broad-banding however, the transition period should, be managed properly because of the size of the Public Service as compared to other organisations that use broad-banding but do not have a large workforce similar to that of Government.
