Leading citizen ict company appoints new CEO

She walks with a spring in her legs. Tall, slender, with a touch of urban sophistication about her, this is Rona Tshiamo, a female local, recently appointed to lead one of Botswana’s leading ICT companies, Moonstone (Pty) Ltd a Moro Group Company. which is currently overseeing several multi-million Pula public projects.

Her movie star looks once earned her a movie role in Botswana’s first ever Hollywood production, the No.1 Lady’s Detective Agency movie, otherwise known as Mmaramotswe. She still remembers vividly how she spent days with the likes of Idris Elba and  Jill Scott in Gaborone during the filming of the movie where she was one of the few extras to be given a speaking role.

Born and bred in Gaborone, Tshiamo’s story of success appears to have shaped up like a movie. It has been a dream career in the ICT industry as she saw herself climbing up the ladder to become one of the a few leading women in ICT,
