Kubuitsile attends crime fiction workshop in Sweden

Renowned author, Lauri Kubuitisile, has been invited to participate in a symposium on African Crime Fiction at the Nordic Africa Institute in Uppsala, Sweden, scheduled to begin on May 21, 2015.

She leaves for Sweden on Tuesday. Kubuitsile will be taking part alongside three other writers, Caine prizewinner Helon Habila from Nigeria, well-known crime writer Margie Orford, and Kenyan writer, Wanjiku wa Ngugi.

The acclaimed writer has penned several books of various genres, which include crime fiction, and mysteries. Her versatility has earned her recognition around the world, hence the invitation alongside other renowned writers to partake in the symposium. Kubuitsile told Showtime that her Detective Kate Gomolemo series has done wonders in boosting her profile.
