'Ko Diteneng' razed to rubble

LOBATSE: Ko Diteneng, which had become part of the history of Lobatse, was demolished by the government's 'yellow monsters' last week.

Ko Diteneng, then known as the Lobatse Brickfield, was located along the banks of Peleng River, overlooking the hilly location of the same name.

Last week the yellow monsters descended on the bushy area following a long standing battle between the government and people who were moulding bricks on that site.
