Khama's brush with death

President Ian Khama is lucky to be alive after he was saved from the jaws of wild animals he personally tamed as pets at a Botswana Defence Force enclosure.

He was playing with the seemingly harmless cheetahs. Curiosity was aroused when late last week Khama appeared on Btv with bruises and cuts on his face.

As Btv televised the President's tour of Kgatleng East villages of Bokaa, Oodi and Modipane over the weekend, Btv viewers could not help but wonder at the scars that they saw on President Khama's face. A bandaged arm of the President and stitches also sparked more questions as to what could have happened to  the beloved one.
