Khama brings peace to Serowe South

FRANCISTOWN: In appointing former cabinet minister, Tebelelo Seretse, as Botswana's ambassador to the US, political commentators say President Ian Khama has solved a lot of problems for the Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) in the Serowe South constuency.

Seretse, who is a former Serowe South MP is a known adversary of the incumbent Serowe South MP and Education Minister, Pelonomi Venson-Moitoi.

Seretse and Venson-Moitoi have fought many BDP political battles that have invoked the creative eyes of cartoonists.  Serowe South had become a troubled spot in the ruling party because of the differences between the two women.
