Ten years after his introduction to active party politics, political analysts have been curious about whether President Ian Khama has succeeded in serving the purpose for which he was invited into the political arena. FRANCISTOWN:  About 10 years ago, President Ian Khama retired as commander of the Botswana Defence Force (BDF) to 'neutralise' the ruling Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) warring factions.
