Kgosipula gets Mogoditshane freedom

Chief Justice, Julian Nganunu has dismissed two applications against the Botswana National Front (BNF) lodged by Mogoditshane activist, Charles Charles with costs.

It took Justice Nganunu approximately five hours last Friday to prepare the judgment while the litigants waited. The judgment was not delivered until 7pm owing to the hearing having been postponed from the morning to 2pm.

Charles defeated Mokgweetsi Kgosipula in the BNF parliamentary primary elections for Mogoditshane. But the BNF subsequently declared Kgosipula the candidate after the party slapped Charles with a two-year suspension.
