Kgosi Kgafela Kgafela told Bakgatla in a Kgotla meeting in Mochudi on Saturday that he will be in Moruleng, South Africa, for some time - maybe two months or half a year - depending on the workload.

He also briefed Bakgatla about his constitutional challenge in which he wants the constitution of Botswana to be set aside because he believes it is a fraudulent document. Kgafela announced that the case is coming to an end on Wednesday at the Lobatse High Court. Kgafela also told the tribe that a panel of five judges has been appointed, three from South Africa, to assist in the case, prompting one of the tribesman Joe Magape to say he hoped the three would come from the South African Constitutional Court, adding that the court, may be, would rule in favour of their chief since they specialise in constitutional matters.

However, Kgafela said he does not mind even if he loses the case. Further Kgafela told the tribe that he has an assignment to do in Moruleng because among his duties as kgosi kgolo is to build the tribe. There was a concern among the tribe that the kgosi kgolo wants to relocate to Moruleng.
