Fugitive Bakgatla paramount chief, Kgafela Kgafela was nowhere to be seen last week when his rival for the Moruleng throne in South Africa, Kgosi Nyalala Pilane celebrated the conclusion of a R400m mall at the Moruleng CBD.

Pilane used the event to celebrate an initiative he termed Entrepreneurship Day. He told the multitudes that he exists to develop, nurture and sustain a culture of entrepreneurship in Moruleng and in the North West Province at large. He showcased many entrepreneurs he had invited to come and explore investment opportunities in Moruleng and the North West. His pet project, Moruleng CBD, which has already attracted R400m in investment has numerous franchising opportunities.

"The aim is to inform all interested Bakgatla about the Master Plan, which implements and unlocks the potential of land. The intention is to grow business opportunities and employment, and also to explain how the extension of these projects is designed to improve local standards of living and attract investment, skilled workers and tourists," Pilane said.
