Kebonang, Guma in war of attrition

A war of attrition is brewing between Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) colleagues, MPs Samson Moyo Guma and Cabinet Minister, Sadique Kebonang after the latter accused the former of being “an egomaniac who is hell-bent on smearing everyone”.

Kebonang is said to have asked his Cabinet colleagues this weekend if they have the right to respond to Guma in kind and why the BDP appeared to be helpless in dealing with what he describes as wayward behaviour.

“Kebonang reminded his Cabinet colleagues that Guma wasn’t the only one representing Batswana as he likes reminding everyone but all parliamentarians have the same mandate,” a senior Cabinet Minister disclosed.
