KDC launches website

Kgatleng District Council (KDC) recently launched its website to market its services, policies and projects.

www.kgatlengdc.gov.bw carries latest news feeds, vacancies, tenders and development projects at KDC. Motshwari Maphalala, deputy council secretary (finance and administration) said the website will improve communication and interaction with the council's clients.

"The website will provide up to date and relevant information to our customers at all times," he stated. He said it will empower customers by providing them with information on procurement and strategic plans. For his part, Taboka Nkhwa, secretary in the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development said the website will not only reduce the turnaround time in the provision of council services but will also provide a secure and trustworthy environment for conducting online transactions with the council.She said the website should be well managed to ensure that it always has up to date information.
