FRANCISTOWN: The 12-year-old Kazungula boy, who was saved from a vicious attack by a woman's bite to the crocodile’s nose, was discharged from Kasane Primary Hospital last Friday.

The youngster referred to ‘as Dipompi’ in a trending video, was attacked by a crocodile whilst swimming with friends in the Chobe River near Bush Track Lodge on February 25.

It is alleged that the boy sustained injuries to the head, neck, right side of the shoulder and hand after the monster crocodile attack. Kazungula Police Station commander, Superintendent Phetogo Phillimon told The Monitor the boy is out of danger and was discharged from the hospital. He said the Kazungula Primary School Standard 6 pupil only sustained crocodile attack injuries, but his body is still intact and in a stable condition. Phillimon stated that the survivor will continue with his treatment at home.
