Japan pledges to work with SADC states

The Japanese minister of economy, trade and industry has challenged Botswana and the Southern African Development Community (SADC) countries to capitalise on the available resources to build their nations.

Akira Amari said this at a joint press conference he and his Botswana counterpart minerals, Energy and Water Resources Minister Ponatshego Kedikilwe addressed at the Office of the President on Friday.

Amari said Japan would continue to work with all the 14 SADC member countries, including Botswana.
