BDF private Morris Maforaga was giving evidence in a case in which Mogotsi John is accused of killing Moindia Makgalokwe, a soldier, on December 23, 2006 at the BDF camp in Area W.

Maforaga told the court that John had once intimated that Makgalokwe deserved to be beaten up when he found them at Ntshe bar. The accused also allegedly inquired about one Bonyana, the deceased's wife, after which Makgalokwe grabbed the accused by his clothes and pulled him close to his car.
