I am Not After Nkange Seat Batshu

Retired Botswana Police commissioner Edwin Batshu has denied claims that he is eyeing Member of Parliament (MP) Ambrose Masalila's Nkange constituency.

Last week it was reported that Masalila had written the Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) headquarters to complain that Batshu had already started campaigning to topple him during the primary elections.

Masalila said Batshu's campaign was spearheaded by former area MP, Obed Chilume.
Speaking in a telephone interview from Maitengwe, Batshu said at the weekend that it was news to learn that he was campaigning in the constituency.
