Hobona vows to continue the fight despite losing

FRANCISTOWN: Losing candidate in the Tonota North by-election, Dr Habaudi Hobona has vowed that she will never rest until the ruling Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) is out of power. Hobona represented the Botswana Congress Party (BCP) in the weekend election.

"What I stand for is the ultimate goal of changing representation by the BDP and ushering in a responsible representation by the opposition," said Hobona in an interview yesterday.

Hobona has indicated that her third loss to the ruling party will not dampen her spirits but instead she is destined to fight like an injured buffalo.
