Gaborone University College of Law and Professional Studies (GUC) capped just over 3,000 graduates on Friday, in a graduation ceremony held at the Ditshupo Hall at Fairgrounds.

It was a historic moment for the learning institution as this is the highest number of graduates from the college.

The school has grown in leaps and bounds from its first ever graduation in 2008 when there were no fewer than 100 graduates. Speaking at the ceremony, the Minister of Education and Skills Development, Douglas Letsholathebe lauded the learning institution for its investment in developing early childhood educators. He said government has since adopted early childhood education in public primary schools.
