Honda Fit vehicle owners are being urged to exercise extreme caution following a concerning rise in thefts targeting the popular car model across the Greater Gaborone.

The warning comes after yet another Honda Fit was stolen last weekend, adding to a growing list of similar cases in which the stolen cars are rarely recovered.

According to the police, thieves are believed to be operating in a well-organised syndicate that primarily targets Honda Fits, especially those parked at entertainment spots such as bars and nightclubs.
