Goats, sheep get second dose of FMD vaccine

Small stock in some parts of the country will receive a second dose of Purified Vaccine to be protected against Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD), the department of veterinary services has revealed.

FMD public relations officer, Geoffrey Pheko told Mmegi yesterday that the second lap will start on Monday and end on October 19th.

Pheko said that the vaccination will be provided only in areas where goats and sheep are found to have the FMD virus.
