Global recession was eye-opener says ICB chief

The two-day Insurance Council of Botswana (ICB) annual conference ended yesterday.

 Amongst others, the conference, which was held at the Gaborone International Convention Centre (GICC),discussed economic recovery and diversification, corporate governance, including standards and economic crimes. 

In her welcoming remarks, ICB president Catherine Lesetedi-Letegele said that during the inaugural conference last year, discussions focused on high ethical standards, professional excellence and consumer protection.
