Gaborone Dam springs to life

The Gaborone Dam has collected a few million more litres of water in the last few days and has now registered a six percent capacity from just over two percent on Monday.

The Gaborone water level increased after Ramotswa recorded heavy rainfall of 105 millilitres on Tuesday morning. The Water Utilities Corporation (WUC) only pumps the dam when it is above five percent.

The dam can only supply Gaborone for a month.  The increase was also seen in some of the dams around the country.
