Amid the raucous blasts of the ubiquitous vuvuzela the raw ribaldry of the La Barra Bravas and Budweiser, the Koreans held their own with the gumption of their gong even as they lost at the 'calabash of all nations' that is Soccer City Stadium in Johannesburg last Thursday, writes THALEFANG CHARLES

I was among the 82, 147 football crazy fans inside the 'calabash' who witnessed the Argentinean demolition of South Korea in Johannesburg last Thursday. The 90 minutes of football that was beamed on television across the world was only half the fun that actually lasted over four hours.

It starts with a ride to the stadium. Getting to a World Cup match demands research, planning and proper execution, lest you miss the fun. My match kick-off time was 1:30pm.
