In a move that has captured national attention, respected and well-known attorney, Kgosietsile Ngakaagae, has officially been appointed new Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).

His announcement as head of the prosecution service was made by the Office of the President on Wednesday.

Known for his sharp litigation skills and fearless courtroom presence, the experienced attorney assumes one of the most powerful legal roles in the country, charged with determining who gets prosecuted or not and how justice is served.
