Freight firm in shock as driver shot dead in SA

FRANCISTOWN: Unitrans Botswana managers are in a state of shock following the death of their driver, who is believed to have been shot dead by thugs in South Africa a fortnight ago.

Edwin Kedikilwe, 35, a former Botswana Defence Force (BDF) soldier, was killed by assailants in South Africa the previous Friday.

A resident of Borolong, Kedikilwe was buried at his home village last Thursday. Unitrans' Human Resource Manager Moses Sebolai disclosed that Kedikilwe was murdered on March 2 at the transit town of Swartruggens near Zeerust.
