Four passengers sustained serious injuries on Saturday morning after the public transport minibus they were travelling in was involved in an accident near Mmatseta turn off.

The accident occurred around 8:30am along the Metsimotlhabe–Kopong road when the driver of the 25-seater minibus reportedly lost control of the vehicle after hitting a pothole.

The vehicle veered off the road and plunged into nearby bushes, resulting in multiple injuries, the police said.
