The Ministry of Nationality and, Immigration and Gender Affairs have confirmed closure of four border posts of Mabolwe, Phitshane Molopo, Tshidilamolomo and Bray.

This follows the heavy rainfall that has covered many parts of the country. A statement from the ministry says that travellers at Pont Drift are using cable cars to cross but the water level is very high. 

Meanwhile, the National Disaster Management Office  (NDMO) has issued a warning that due to the ongoing heavy rainfall some villages have been affected by flooding; North East, Nkange, Lobatse, Ramotswa, Kanye, Tlokweng Moshupa, Goodhope, Mahalapye and Mochudi.
