A five-year-old boy is receiving medical treatment at Sidilega Private Hospital after he was hit by a vehicle whilst attempting to cross the road to a nearby shop in Mogoditshane on Saturday morning.

No.13 District Officer Commanding, Senior Superintendent Mmoloke Sebako, told The Monitor the minor was hit by a car driven by a 47-year-old man.

“The child sustained a fractured left hip and was rushed to Sidilega Private Hospital, where he is currently admitted in a stable condition,” Sebako said.
