LOBATSE: Father of Tshegofatso Phelelo came face to face with the man who allegedly killed his daughter at Broadhurst Location in January 26th 2009 after a love affair had gone sour.

Molefhe Mamapilo met with former Broadhurst police officer Tirafalo Motswasele before Justice Isaac Lesetedi yesterday. He told the court that on the day of the alleged murder, he was not present at home and only arrived moments after the incident upon which he saw Motswasele handcuffed in a police van wearing bloodstained clothes. However, he was shown exhibits that included a plastic bottle containing petrol as well as a black bag and bloodstains inside his house, he said.

The court heard that the accused and the deceased had had numerous misunderstandings during their love affair, which had blossomed into a marriage proposal though Motswasele was already married.
