Facelift of State House reaches advanced stage

With the shortlisting of companies for the next phase in the refurbishment of State House done this week, the project is at an advanced stage.

According to a public notice from the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Board, (PPADB), eight contractors were shortlisted for Phase Five of the project this week. 

They are Fairdeal Shopfitters, Rimu Enterprises, Mido Construction, T&P Construction, MSW Building Construction, Manillah Investments, Italtswana Construction Company and Champion Construction. According to figures released last year by the Ministry of Presidential Affairs and Public Administration, the refurbishment of State House will cost about P16.3 million.
