Expelled BDP cllrs mull political future

MAUN: Two Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) councillors, who were recently expelled after defying a party caucus for the chairmanship elections in the North West District Council (NWDC), are yet to declare their future.

Duncan Enga and Vepaune Moreti contested for leadership of the council, despite not having been endorsed by the BDP caucus.

Enga beat Reaboka Mbulawa who had been endorsed by the party caucus for the chairmanship, while Moreti won the deputy chairmanship for the Maun Administrative Authority (MAA), beating Nico Folae who had also been chosen by the caucus.
