Don't bring council questions to Parliament - Masalila

The Assistant Minister of Local Government Ambrose Masalila has told Members of Parliament to refrain from asking questions that could be asked in council meetings.

He said implementation of projects is being slowed down as ministers spend more time attending to questions that are asked at the wrong forum.

Masalila said ministers are supposed to spend more time in rural areas to ensure that projects are implemented, but their time is spent mostly in Parliament sessions.
