While it would seem like the Vice President Slumber Tsogwane and his lobby list were in the lead to assist President Mokgweetsi Masisi drive the Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) forward, the party’s youth have raised doubts about the contest.

The outcome of the BDP National Youth Executive Committee (NYEC) brought panic for the team led by the Vice President just under three weeks before its national elective congress slated for Tsabong from August 26-28, 2022.

Tsogwane will be challenged by Nonofo Molefhi for party chairperson, Shaw Kgathi will battle it out with Kavis Kario for the secretary-general, while for deputy secretary-general, Dr Lemogang Kwape will battle it out with Thabo Autlwetse.
