Devastating water shortage in Molepolole has prompted several senior citizens, among them business pioneer and former secretary general of the Botswana Peoples Party, Vice President, to call for the resignation of the constituencies' political leadership.

Neo Motlhabane said for four weeks now, the Kweneng capital, has been reeling under intolerable levels of water scarcity.

He said that Daniel Kwelagobe, MP for Molepolole South, and Gaotlhaetse Matlhabaphiri of the North constituency 'had been aware of the problem for a long time and should resign from either the cabinet or as members of parliament'.
