Dibete police investigate suicide incident

Police in Dibete are investigating a case in which a 55-year-old man of Tshipana ward, Mookane was found hanging from the rafters of his neighbour's unfinished house yesterday morning.

The deceased was last seen by his neighbour on Sunday at around 9pm when they were both going to sleep. Dibete Police Station commander, Superintendent Meshack Ranku said to his surprise when waking up the following morning, the deceased's neighbour found him hanging from the rafters of his house and reported the matter to the police.

"He was rushed to Mahalapye hospital where he was confirmed dead on arrival by the doctors. Investigations into the matter are ongoing to establish what transpired because he did not leave any suicide note," he said.
