Dehorned rhino carcass found

The Commander of Maun Police Station, Kenanao Badumetse, could not provide more details because investigations are still underway.It could thus not be established whether the rhino was one of the four donated by Khama Rhino Sanctuary to Moremi Game Reserve last year.

Badumetse dismissed reports that the police had arrested five people in connection with the incident after reports emerged that three elderly men and two women were in custody in connection with the crime. Another man said to be the husband of one of the women reportedly in custody was said to be on the run.
