SELEBI-PHIKWE: Jumbo Warehouse attorneys have confirmed that they have attached Pula Steel property following the company’s failure to pay a debt of close to P1 million.

This is despite the steel manufacturing plant’s recent denial that their vehicles were attached for failure to pay a supplier. Pula Steel instead said the vehicles were kept at Jumbo Warehouse premises for security reasons.

Jumbo Warehouse lawyer Rebatho Rantsudu of Rantsudu attorneys confirmed that the company owes their client close to P1 million that has been in the books for over a year. “The property being vehicles were attached in October and at the moment we are trying to make arrangements with the deputy sheriff to sell off the property,” he said. Rantsudu added that they are handling three cases against Pula Steel launched by unhappy suppliers.
