Court to rule on MP Lelatisitswes disputed land

FRANCISTOWN: The land dispute pitting the Ngwato Land Board (NLB) and MP for Boteti East, Sethomo Lelatisitswe on the same side and Mompoloki Moitobi on the other, reached fever pitch when both parties made final submissions before the land tribunal yesterday.

Moitobi wants the tribunal to declare that he is the rightful owner of the disputed land, which he argues the NLB erred by allocating it to Lelatisitswe.

In the past, the Dikgosi allocated the disputed land to Moitobi’s parents when they were vested with the authority to allocate land to their subjects.
