Corpses recovered in burnt house

Shakawe police station commander, Superintendent Jerry Halahala has confirmed that two corpses were found in a house that burnt down in the early hours of Monday.

Halahala said yesterday they were called to stop the fire in Mabudutsa ward but they recovered were the two corpses from the debris.

He said the fire must have started between 1 and 2am and they are still investigating the cause. Halahala said one corpse is of a 25-year-old woman from Mopako ward in Gumare, whilst the other is of a male, 33, from Thito ward in Maun. He said that anyone in Shakawe who believes he or she has a useful clue should come forward and inform the police.
