There is no escaping the hangman’s noose for 37-year-old Francistown man, Uyapo Poloko with the Court of Appeal sealing his fate on Friday.

Poloko, a graduate of counselling from Tonota College of Education, who was convicted of murder and sentenced to death in 2015 by a Francistown court, was appealing his conviction.

It has been a dark road for him as he had been trying to preserve his life after last March the High Court rejected his application for discharge in the murder of an Asian woman, Vijeyadeyi Kandavaranam.
