Civil service shake-up, Cabinet reshuffle looming

Former permanent secretary, Ticky Pule, has resigned from the civil service after she was demoted to principal of the Botswana Institute of Accountancy College (BIAC).

Meanwhile, broadcasting director, Mogomotsi Kaboeamodimo, has been elevated to the post of deputy PS responsible for the government broadcasting services.

This has sparked speculation that Kaboeamodimo has replaced Jeff Ramsay, who is deputy PS responsible for government media. However, Ramsay, who confirmed Kaboeamodimo's promotion has said he has not been fired and remains deputy PS.
