Chadibe under threat of cholera spread

FRANCISTOWN: With the recent water crisis hanging over the villages of Chadibe, Borolong and Shashemooke, residents risk contracting water born infections.

For the past week residents have been faced with water uncertainties, which forces them to drink from the Shashe River.

The villagers complain that they are not able to bath or cook properly. They could also be inviting trouble by drinking untreated water from the river. According to a public health specialist, Dr Paul Nashara, it is very risky and unhealthy to drink from the river.
