Celebrations as Orapa JSS attains 98 pass rate

FRANCISTOWN: Orapa community has celebrated the high pass rate at Orapa Junior Secondary School in the 2010 examinations that earned them the number one position in the country. The school attained a 98 percent pass rate in the exams.

Mogakolodi Maoketsa, a senior manager at Orapa and Letlhakane Mines (OLM) said it is evident that the Orapa community has committed leadership, teaching staff and parents who strive to produce outstanding academic results and creates an environment that is conducive and nurturing to learners.

"The school receives commendable support from the community in moulding the youth to become responsible and accountable citizens who are able to face today's dynamic challenges," he said.
