CEDA and spouses in Parliament

Assistant Minister of Finance and Development Planning, Duncan Mlazie says the Citizen Entrepreneural Development Agency (CEDA) Venture Capital Fund has committed P196.9 million out of P200 million originally provided to it and P140.7million has been disbursed.

Since its inception, 19 projects were approved for investment out of the fund from which two were withdrawn. 

Seven projects are citizen owned while 10 others are joint ventures between citizens and foreigners. Eleven application are currently being processed and the scheme was expected to generate 956 employment opportunities. He was answering a question by Ronald Ridge.
