Case postponed as Matambo's lawyers apply for dismissal

The case against Finance Minister Kenneth Matambo has been postponed to allow his lawyers to apply for the charges to be dismissed because the state has so far failed to prove its case.

The postponement also resulted from rescheduling occasioned by the unavailability of Chief Magistrate Lenah Oahile-Mokibe at the Village Magistrates Court.

The case was due to continue on Monday when Matambo's lawyers were expected to move an application for the charges to be quashed.
