Case of pension robbery postponed again

FRANCISTOWN: The case involving four people accused of robbing a pensions officeTown of cash amounting to P166,070 at Sowa Township two years ago was postponed again this week.

Angelina Mbutho, Batsile Thipe, Ofentse Vincent, Daniel Thipe and a Zimbabwean who is still at large, Lastboy Thomas, allegedly stole a Nokia 6610 cellphone valued at P850, office keys, safe keys and cash box keys from Josephine Mokgwe, whom they also assaulted on April 19, 2007 at Sowa Township.

In addition, the four face a count of office break-in and theft. They allegedly broke into a pensions office and stole cash amounting to P166, 070 and a cash box belonging to the government of Botswana.
