Businessman shot dead in Phakalane

A 63-year-old Malawian businessman was shot and killed in the early hours of Sunday morning in Phakalane.

Harry Thembo, who owned an information technology company, was allegedly shot in the head and finished off with an axe on his way home from The Boulevard Bar at Phakalane mall.

His assailant (s) left him in a trench where he was found in the wee hours of Sunday. His relatives told Mmegi that the incident did not seem to be a robbery as his belongings were found at the scene.
